Fabian Hurzeler has taken tips from the England rugby set-up.
The [Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/?ref=au) head coach was an interested observer as they prepared to face New Zealand.
Hurzeler has spoken in the past about his admiration for the All Blacks - and mentioned that again last week ahead of the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
But this time he was with England.
His Seagulls side, whose fans include England back Marcus Smith and former prop Joe Marler, dealt capably with several up-and-unders into their penalty area at Selhurst Park
And they will need to be secure under the high ball again when Premier League action resumes against Brentford.
Hurzeler could be seen at Pennyhill Park chatting to England coaches and players and taking notes.
He has previously visited American sports teams while in Texas.
Last summer, he spoke of his chat with former San Antonio Spurs basketball coach Gregg Popovich.
And he has a love of boxing.
Speaking in March, Hurzeler told The Argus: “I love to learn from different kinds of sports.
“Especially rugby here is much bigger than in Germany so I follow it even more.
“I think rugby teams show a lot of togetherness, they are quite good with their mindset and how they take responsibility, especially the individual players.
“Therefore I think we can learn a lot in football from them.”
England face New Zealand at Twickenham on Saturday.
