Hornets unveil new, very bright City uniforms

The Charlotte Hornets unveiled this season’s version of their City Edition uniforms, dubbed _Hoopers Paradise._

The uniforms are classic Hornets colors yellow and orange with blue and white trim. They are an homage to the birds-of-paradise flower, which was given its official name (Strelitzia) after Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. I recognize some of those words in her name. I might can see the connection.

You check out all the team media and details of the uniforms [here](https://www.nba.com/hornets/hoopersparadise).

The Hornets will wear the uniforms 12 times between now and the end of the season. The games:

* November 15 vs Thunder

* November 29 vs Raptors

* December 18 vs Hawks

* December 31 vs Warriors

* January 24 vs Wizards

* January 31 vs Spurs

* February 19 vs Rockets

* February 20 vs Cavaliers

* March 6 vs Heat

* March 21 vs Grizzlies

* March 26 vs Knicks

* April 10 vs Pistons

I personally like them. The City uniforms are supposed to be fun, so I like that they went completely away from the Hornets color palette. It’s a nice change of pace for a few games. Plus I’m a sucker for very bright, almost obnoxiously bright colors.
