We’re past the halfway point of the NFL season, and all 32 teams have played either nine or ten games. So we thought it was fitting to assess the performance of each team. Some have earned an A+, while others are flunking their way to an F. How does your team’s NFL report card look ahead of Week 11?
Arizona Cardinals: D
NFL: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys
Kevin Jairaj-Imagn Images
Three years into the Jonathan Gannon regime, it’s time for the Cardinals to start winning. While they started hot with two wins out of the gate, they’ve lost six of their last seven games. Losing Kyler Murray to injury hasn’t helped, but even he’s been benched. Not much has gone right in Arizona this season, which could lead to a full organizational overhaul this offseason.
Atlanta Falcons: D
NFL: Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers
Darren Yamashita-Imagn Images
For the second consecutive week, the Falcons lost a game that they easily could have won. It’s become a trend for a team ranking 27th in scoring. Oddly enough, Atlanta’s 16th-ranked defense is keeping them in games. Yet, with Michael Penix ranking above only Cam Ward and Dillon Gabriel in completion rate, it’s no surprise that the Falcons’ offense is struggling.
Baltimore Ravens: C
NFL: Chicago Bears at Baltimore Ravens
Geoff Burke-Imagn Images
With three consecutive wins over the Bears, Dolphins, and Vikings, the Ravens have clawed back into the playoff picture. They’re now just one game behind the Steelers for the AFC North divisional crown. Getting a healthy Lamar Jackson back into the lineup helps, but this team’s momentum has been spurred by a defense allowing just 14.5 points per game in their past four contests.

Buffalo Bills: B+
NFL: Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers
Jim Dedmon-Imagn Images
Where did that come from? Just when it looked like the Bills were ready to go on a hot streak, the Bills suffer their worst loss of the season. Still, with the NFL’s sixth-ranked offense and 10th-ranked defense, we like Buffalo’s chances to compete with anyone; they just can’t afford to flop like this again.
Carolina Panthers: B
NFL: Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers
Jim Dedmon-Imagn Images
Just when it looked like the Panthers had turned the corner and developed into a team capable of competing for a playoff spot, they lose to one of the NFL’s worst teams. The Panthers didn’t just lose; they recorded just 175 yards, their lowest offensive output of the season. We’ll see how things go against Atlanta, which should be winnable.
Chicago Bears: B+
NFL: Chicago Bears Training Camp
Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images
Caleb Williams is showing us what he’s capable of, and the Bears have to like what they see. Chicago’s defense is far more concerning, allowing over 430 yards in each of the past two games. They’ve also allowed the NFL’s fifth-most points. Seeing if they can strike a balance will be crucial to this team’s chances of competing for a playoff spot.

Cincinnati Bengals: D
NFL: New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals
Joseph Maiorana-Imagn Images
The Bengals don’t have any issues scoring with Joe Flacco under center. But they also can’t stop anyone on defense either, allowing an NFL-most 33.3 points per game. Not even getting Joe Burrow back can help fix that. The only hope is that Flacco can somehow help Ja’Marr Chase and company score 40+ until Burrow returns, hopefully keeping their playoff hopes alive.
Cleveland Browns: F
NFL: Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots
Brian Fluharty-Imagn Images
Now that the Browns have lost to one of the NFL’s worst teams in the Jets, there’s no other way to describe it: the Browns are atrocious. Cleveland’s offense stinks. They’ve scored more than 17 points just twice, and more than 20 once. Though, both of those ‘high-scoring’ outputs came with Dillon Gabriel under center.
Dallas Cowboys: C-
NFL: Dallas Cowboys at New York Jets
Robert Deutsch-Imagn Images
Coming out of the bye allowing the NFL’s second-most points, the Cowboys actually have a lot to look forward to after trading for two new starters. IF the defense can come together, the Cowboys may emerge as a true playoff contender thanks to an offense that ranks fourth in scoring. But a 3-5-1 record gives them a lot of catching up to do.
Denver Broncos: A+
NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos
Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images
Winners of seven in a row, no team is hotter than the Broncos are right now. Many of their wins haven’t been pretty, like beating the Raiders by just seven points, but Denver is still finding a way to win, and that’s all that matters when it comes to playoff positioning.
Detroit Lions: B+
Detroit Lions

The Lions responded to a tough loss to the Vikings with one of their best all-around games yet. Detroit has racked up over 500 yards in two different games this season, and they’ve scored 34 or more four times. The offense is clearly ready to hang with anyone, and they’ve yet to allow a team to record 400 yards against them. Overall, this group may be ready than last year’s team, but they’re also healthier.
Green Bay Packers: BThe Eagles may have scored a season-low 10 points, but they also held the Packers to a new season-low of seven points too. A.J. Brown still isn’t producing like he should, but as long as both sides can continue to progress toward a common goal of winning back-to-back Super Bowls, we don’t imagine he’ll be a problem.
NFL: Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers
Barry Reeger-Imagn Images
Sitting with a chance to take over the NFC North, the Packers dropped a dud on offense, recording a season-low seven points. Even with their top-ten defense, scoring just a touchdown won’t lead to many wins. Green Bay hasn’t put together a dominant performance in any of its games this season, but tbat could change this week against the Giants.
Houston Texans: C+
NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans
Sean Thomas-Imagn Images
The Texans need to pick a lane already. They’ve alternated between wins and losses for the past four weeks, keeping them on the fringes of the playoff picture. With the NFL’s best defense, Houston is still alive, and their offense is showing signs of life too. The question is whether Davis Mills can repeat his success long enough for Stroud to return to the lineup.
Indianapolis Colts: A+
NFL: Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts
Robert Goddin-Imagn Images
Daniel Jones is back on the top of the mountain, positioning himself for yet another game-changing contract. It helps that Jonathan Taylor is running wild too. After seeing how well the rest of Chris Ballard’s offseason investments have panned out, we can’t wait to see how much of an impact Sauce Gardner can have too.
Jacksonville Jaguars: B-
NFL: London Games-Los Angeles Rams at Jacksonville Jaguars
Kirby Lee-Imagn Images
Who are the Jaguars? We’ve seen them beat some pretty good teams, like the 49ers and Chiefs. Yet we’ve also seen them basically play down to their competition, like nearly losing to the Raiders in overtime in Week 9. Jakobi Meyers should help the offense stabilize until Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter return to the lineup, but it looks like he’ll need some more time to catch up to speed with his new teammates.
Kansas City Chiefs: B+
NFL: Washington Commanders at Kansas City Chiefs
Jay Biggerstaff-Imagn Images
A bye week came at the perfect time for the Chiefs after losing to the Bills. It buys them more time to reintegrate Rashee Rice back into the lineup while addressing their weaknesses that have shown up on tape. With matchups coming against the Broncos, Colts, Cowboys, Texans, and Chargers, we’re about to learn a lot about what this Chiefs team is really made of.
Las Vegas Raiders: F
NFL: Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
Jay Biggerstaff-Imagn Images
For the fourth time this season, the Raiders failed to score double-digit points. That’s been an unfortunately common theme for a Raiders team that has proven to be no better under Pete Carroll than they were under Antonio Pierce, which is a big surprise considering the vast difference in experience. At least they held the Broncos to just ten points on Sunday?
Los Angeles Chargers: A-
NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Chargers
Gary A. Vasquez-Imagn Images
Few teams have dealt with more injuries than Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers have this season, but you wouldn’t know it from their 7-3 record. Justin Herbert has looked like one of the NFL’s best QBs at times, and the defense has returned to being a top-ten unit. That’s a recipe that they can win with, even after all their injuries.
Los Angeles Rams: A+
NFL: London Games-Los Angeles Rams at Jacksonville Jaguars
Kirby Lee-Imagn Images
While there were injury concerns surrounding Matthew Stafford before the season kicked off, the Rams look like they’re equipped for another trip to the Super Bowl. To no surprise, Sean McVay’s offense ranks fifth in scoring, and the defense, which ranks second, is even better. The Rams look like one of the NFC’s most elite teams.
Miami Dolphins: F
NFL: Miami Dolphins at Atlanta Falcons
Dale Zanine-Imagn Images
Where did that come from? The Dolphins needed to show up earlier in the season, but we suppose late is still better than never. The 370 yards they recorded against Buffalo is Miami’s highest output of the season. The defense has still allowed 375 or more yards in five matchups, showing that it’s not just Tagovailoa’s struggles that have led to their demise.
Minnesota Vikings: C
NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings
Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images
Four games into his career, J.J. McCarthy has understandably been very inconsistent. The Vikings’ season, for the most part, rides and dies with McCarthy’s accuracy and decision-making. With a completion rate just above 50% (53.7%) and an INT rate of 5.6%, the 22-year-old has a lot of room for growth. It’s starting to feel like this will be a season of growing pains in Minnesota.
New England Patriots: A+
NFL: Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots
Bob DeChiara-Imagn Images
Also winners of seven in a row, the Patriots aren’t just beating up on the bad teams; they’re defeating playoff contenders like the Bills and Buccaneers, too. With a top-ten offense and defense, the Patriots are one of the NFL’s biggest success stories, and it’s just Mike Vrabel’s first season.
New Orleans Saints: D-
NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images
The Saints have lost four in a row, popped off a win, lost four in a row again, then came away with another surprise win. This one came with Tyler Shough under center, and the Saints had their highest yardage total yet (388 yards). The defense also showed up, allowing a season-best 175 yards. How will they respond coming out of the bye in Week 12?
New York Giants: D-
NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
Bill Streicher-Imagn Images
After three uninspiring seasons, Brian Daboll is out, and rising coaching candidate Mike Kafka is taking over. We’ll see if the former QB can create a spark with star rookie Jaxson Dart once he returns to health, but we have low expectations without Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo available. It doesn’t help that their run defense is among the league’s worst.
New York Jets: D+
NFL: New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals
Joseph Maiorana-Imagn Images
How is it that the Jets trade away two of their best players, a pair of All-Pros, and they somehow get their second win of the season? We’ve suddenly seen an offensive spark, averaging 33 points across the past two games. But we’re expecting another ugly outcome this week against New England.
Philadelphia Eagles: A-
NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
Eric Hartline-Imagn Images
The Eagles may have scored a season-low 10 points, but they also held the Packers to a new season-low of seven points too. A.J. Brown still isn’t producing like he should, but as long as both sides can continue to progress toward a common goal of winning back-to-back Super Bowls, we don’t imagine he’ll be a problem.
Pittsburgh Steelers: B-
Syndication: Beaver County Times
Michael Longo / For USA Today Network / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images
Aaron Rodgers admittedly had a dud game against the Chargers, but the Steelers are one of six teams with fewer than 200 passing yards against the Bolts this season. In other words, Pittsburgh shouldn’t feel too bad. Seeing how Mike Tomlin’s team responds will be crucial, but we have a feeling they’ll make easy work of the Jaguars on Sunday.
San Francisco 49ers: B
NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans
Sean Thomas-Imagn Images
In a pair of stats that no one predicted, the 49ers lead the NFL in passing yards, and Mac Jones has started eight of their games. In other words, Kyle Shanahan’s offense still kicks butt, and they don’t even have Brandon Aiyuk yet. Robert Saleh’s defense isn’t capitalizing on their turnover opportunities often, either, as the 49ers have just one interception this season. It’s better than last year, and the fact that Brock Purdy is close to a return makes us curious to see how an already productive offense responds.
Seattle Seahawks: A+
NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders
Geoff Burke-Imagn Images
A top-five offense and defense have the Seahawks looking like Super Bowl contenders. They’ve demolished their past two opponents (both teams were starting their backup QBs). A big test arrives this week against the Rams, but we have a feeling Seattle’s offense will score at least 20 points for the ninth time this season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B+
NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images
Dave Canales left, and the Buccaneers suddenly can’t run the ball again. Baker Mayfield has an excellent TD-to-INT ratio, but injuries to Chris Godwin and Mike Evans have led to an understandably reduced passing output. The Buccaneers have lost their toughest tests, and there are two more up next versus the Bills and Rams. Still sitting comfortably in first place of the NFC South, the Bucs still have to like where they are.
Tennessee Titans: F
Syndication: The Tennessean
Denny Simmons / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images
Last in scoring and 30th in points allowed, the Titans are the NFL’s worst team. Cam Ward is actually on pace to set a new record for the most sack yards lost in a single season. The Titans have played nine games, but they have just eight touchdowns so far this season. That’s a perfect recipe to lose a lot.
Washington Commanders: F
NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders
Amber Searls-Imagn Images
Sitting at 3-7, the Commanders’ season is effectively over. Washington obviously misses Jayden Daniels, but to be fair, they weren’t playing well with their franchise QB. Allowing the NFL’s second-most passing yards and the league’s most passing yards per attempt, Washington has trouble on both sides of the ball.
