Another week of the NFL season has passed as we inch closer to the fantasy football playoffs.
With injuries to key players and surprise breakout stars across fantasy football in Week 10, your team may need some tinkering in advance of Wednesday morning’s waiver wire deadline.

We won’t mention players with season-ending injuries such as Tucker Kraft or Cam Skattebo, who shouldn’t be taking up a roster spot no matter how much you cherish them.

Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets
Wilson re-aggravated a knee injury in Week 10 after returning from a two-game absence. The Jets WR1 is expected to miss “three to four weeks,” with a potential return in time for the fantasy playoffs.
At this point, it’s not worth holding onto Wilson, who likely won’t play a big part in the Jets offense, which averages a league-low 143.8 passing yards per game, if and when he returns this season.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Washington Commanders
Once a fantasy breakout candidate, Croskey-Merritt’s blossoming rookie campaign has fallen flat over the past five weeks. Since his 27-point haul in Week 5, ‘Bill’ has logged scores of 5.8, 4.2, 2.5, 5.1, and 3.
Croskey-Merritt officially lost his starting job to Chris Rodriguez Jr in Week 10, and should be dropped to make room for any number of players with a higher ceiling.

Jordan Mason, RB, Minnesota Vikings
Like Croskey-Merritt, we have likely seen the peak of a once-hopeful fantasy asset in Mason.
The Vikings back posted four straight double digit fantasy scores between Week 3 and 7, and has since totalled 10.4 points in his last three games. With Aaron Jones back in the fray, Mason’s workload has fallen off a cliff and he should be dropped.
Nick Chubb, RB, Houston Texans
Chubb has taken a backseat to rookie back Woody Marks in recent weeks, and the veteran could see a further decrease in touches if his backfield mate continues his ascension.

Even if Chubb maintains a share of touches, the veteran is far from his former explosive self and has exceeded 12.5 PPR fantasy points just once this season. Marks is the clear top option for the Texans going forward.
Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals
Murray is on injured reserve for another three weeks, and, like Wilson, could be healthy in time for the fantasy playoffs.
If you’re holding out hope for the Cardinals to turn back to their former No. 1 pick, it’s time to let go.
