Bulldogs in the NFL Week 10

ATHENS, Ga. – Week 10 of NFL action is complete, and several former Bulldogs had exceptional performances for their respective teams.

Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford continues to dominate as he recorded his third game in a row with at least four passing touchdowns. On Sunday, Stafford threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns in a win over the 49ers, including his 400th touchdown pass of his career. With his performance on Sunday, Stafford has now thrown for 13 touchdowns and over 700 yards in his last three games, making him the first quarterback in NFL history to throw four or more touchdowns in three consecutive games without throwing an interception. Currently, Stafford ranks first in the NFL in passing touchdowns (25), and fourth in the league in passing yards (2,427).

Meanwhile, Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Jalon Walker has turned in two impactful performances in his last two games. This Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, Walker racked up six tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, one quarterback hit, and a forced fumble. Walker has now recorded back-to-back games with a sack and forced fumble, and ranks first amongst rookies in sacks with 4.0.
