Everton could move for another striker in January amid fresh links with both Ivan Toney and Joshua Zirkzee.
Goals have been in short supply for Everton’s strikers this season.
Beto and Thierno Barry have struggled in front of goal, scoring just one Premier League goal between them this season.
Barry caught the eye as Everton beat Fulham 2-0, but he is still waiting for lift-off in the goalscoring charts.
David Moyes may be tempted to look for another striker in January, with potential targets emerging.

World Cup dreams could work in Everton’s favour with Ivan Toney and Joshua Zirkzee
Everton are eyeing FC Midtjylland’s Franculino Dju, but two strikers with Premier League experience have also been mentioned.
Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett claims that Everton are keen on Ivan Toney and Joshua Zirkzee, with a new striker a top priority for January.
Toney is currently in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ahli, while Zirkzee is stuck on the sidelines at Manchester United.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Both players may be on the move in January, with one clear motivation in mind – playing at the World Cup.
Toney’s England hopes have been hit by his move to Saudi Arabia, while Zirkzee could miss out on the Netherlands squad due to his lack of action.
Both players may be open to loan moves in January, and Everton are seemingly ready to pounce.
Regular action at Everton could help secure World Cup action for Toney or Zirkzee, and that is something the Toffees must look to utilise.
Ivan Toney makes more sense than Joshua Zirkzee for Everton
Zirkzee is also being linked with Roma, meaning he could be at the centre of a tug-of-war between Friedkin-owned clubs.
The Dutchman has bags of talent on the ball, but he is far from a consistent goalscorer.
Toney is more of a proven goalscorer in the Premier League and would be able to come in, hit the ground running and take pressure off Barry.
Wages are the concern, as Toney earns big money in Saudi Arabia, and Everton may find it difficult to contribute even part of his wages.
The Friedkin Group may need to dig deep, but Toney could bring the goals Everton need up front.
