Travis Hunter was among the most hyped up players in the 2025 NFL Draft, who was picked as the 2nd overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars after a thrilling year at Colorado that ended with his taking home the Heisman trophy.
Hunter’s most special trait was his ability to play on both defensive and offensive sides of the ball; however, many fans and analysts didn’t believe that he could sustain in the league.

The ex-Colorado star will now be missing the rest of the NFL season after his season-ending knee surgery that took place on 11th November, repairing his lateral collateral ligament.
The Jaguars quarterback faced a non-contact injury on October 30th before the Las Vegas Raiders game in week 11, which ended with a one-point win for Jacksonville.
Ian Rapoport revealed that Hunter will be able to resume football activities in 6 months.

Skip Bayless Slams Travis Hunter for Getting Baptized on Game Day
Travis Hunter decided to get baptized just hours ahead of the Jaguars’ matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in week 6.
While fans were thrilled for Hunter as he embarked on his new journey, analyst Skip Bayless saw this situation through another lens.
In one of his clips posted on X on October 14th, Bayless criticized Hunter’s decision to get baptized on game day Sunday, as he believes the ex-Colorado star was so passionate about football, we would never do it unless he is mentally checking out of the team.
Bayless claimed that this was not a normal circumstance for Hunter, and it’s happening because the Jaguars are using him so little that he is losing interest in the game.
