Lions land Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends as halftime performer vs. Cowboys

DETROIT - Detroit Lions fans won’t want to go far from their seats at halftime of their upcoming “Thursday Night Football” game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Motown greats, the Temptations have just been announced as the halftime performer.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will perform some of their signature hits at the nationally televised game taking place at Ford Field on Thursday, December 4.

The Lions are currently 6-3, in first place in the NFC North division. The Cowboys are 3-5-1, in second place in the NFC East.

The Lions beat Washington, 44-22 this past Sunday. They play at Philadelphia on “Sunday Night Football” this Sunday before hosting the Giants on Sunday, November 23rd and playing Green Bay at home on Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27th.

Dallas had a bye last week and will play at Las Vegas on "Monday Night Football" this Monday, before hosting Philadelphia on Sunday, November 23rd and playing Kansas City at home on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27.
