Andoni Iraola said he is hopeful they can use those two games to return to the levels that saw them go on a run of eight games unbeaten.
Bournemouth were beaten 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium, before falling to a poor 4-0 loss at Villa Park last weekend.

The boss admitted that both games had worried him, and he said he hopes both can help them get back to the required level to win games in the top flight.
“I'm worried because of these last two games, I felt like we haven't been us,” Iraola told the Daily Echo.
“We haven't been as aggressive, we haven't been as good winning duels.
“I think it's a warning for me from the competition because this competition is very, very expensive and the margins are for us very small.

“We have to return now because after I think a good solid run of games, these two games are for me like a warning of careful, if you don't go to do your basics well, if you don't play with the same approach, if you don't do the small things properly, defend set pieces.
“I think the competition is going to punish you. I think and I hope we can use these two games to return to where we were before these last two games.”
Iraola must now hope that the team can return from the international break and bounce back at home against West Ham.
Asked if the break had come at a good time for a reset after those two defeats, Iraola said: “It comes when it comes, we cannot move it.
“Always you want to win the last game before the international break because you know it's going to be two weeks there in your head and to finish with these feelings it’s not what you want.
“But we cannot change it.
“And we will be working with half of the squad or even less but with those players and the two, three days we have at the end with the others we have to prepare better the game against West Ham and try to react to these two defeats.”
