Leeds United have a big decision to make on the future of Daniel Farke, who has come under immense criticism following Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Despite taking the lead through Lukas Nmecha, the Whites were beaten at The City Ground as goals from Ibrahim Sangare, Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson condemned Farke's side to a fourth defeat in five matches.

It's a result that leaves Leeds down in 16th in the Premier League table, just one point above the dreaded relegation zone and with a daunting-looking run of fixtures to come between now and the start of the festive period.

Pressure has since increased on Farke's shoulders with Leeds winning just one of their last six and losing back-to-back away matches in comprehensive fashion. While there has been nothing concrete in place that Leeds are prepared to fire Farke, question marks have been raised by fans around the German's future at Elland Road.

So, with that in mind, our Leeds Live writers have taken a look at Farke and whether the Whites should stick with the ex-Norwich City manager or not...

If Leeds want to stay in the Premier League, sacking Farke would be the smartest decision. While the Whites haven't made a disastrous start, form has started to dip in recent weeks, and I think that axing Farke and appointing a manager with more top-flight experience would be the best call.

Brendan Rodgers, for me, is the outstanding candidate of the managers who are available right now, following his departure from Celtic last month. The Northern Irishman did an excellent job for the first two-and-a-half years of his tenure at Leicester City, taking them from a relegation-threatened club into one that challenged for trophies.

He has the calibre and experience to transform Leeds into a side that can establish itself as a Premier League outfit - something the Whites board is desperate to achieve. But if the Whites cannot convince Rodgers to move to Elland Road, I would attempt to convince an unsettled Marco Silva to leave Fulham and join Leeds.

It feels like November or never for Leeds. Almost two years since waiting too long to sack Jesse Marsch, they risk repeating those mistakes with Daniel Farke.

Those reports in April that they were considering a change felt like the beginning of the end, and now seven months later, it could well be the case. There were reputedly concerns over his record in the Premier League, and six more losses have now raised further question marks.

Brendan Rodgers' availability suggests that there are options available with more favourable top-flight experience. Marco Rose, the former head coach of Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig, who is also out of work, is another appealing alternative.

A look at Leeds United’s fixture list reveals why Daniel Farke won’t be sacked anytime soon.

With Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool all to come between now and the start of December, it does not make sense for the Whites to change manager.

However, that is not to say that Farke isn’t under pressure. He is, and if he doesn't start turning things around, then he will be gone before Christmas.

However, it is currently difficult to envision the Leeds hierarchy wanting a new manager to take on Villa, City, Chelsea, and Liverpool in their opening four games. So it's stick for me.
