Packers’ Micah Parsons issues guarantee after concerning losses to Panthers, Eagles

The Green Bay Packers are going through it. An NFL season is not always going to be rosy for any team, and Green Bay is getting reminded of that again, as it has stumbled of late.

After suffering a 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field in Week 9, Green Bay failed to recover in Week 10, as the team absorbed a 10-7 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles, also at home, in Week 10’s edition of Monday Night Football.

Green Bay has defended well overall in those games, but they have also been gashed on the ground by the opposing rushing attacks of the Panthers and the Eagles. Despite the Packers’ shortcomings and setbacks of late, Green Bay star pass rusher Micah Parsons believed that things are still bound to be much better for his team.

“I wouldn’t panic at all,” Parsons told reporters after the loss to the Eagles (via Dominique Yates of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel). “The way we just played, we’re going to win a lot of football games. So there should be a lot … and this is considered of one of the best offenses in the National Football League. So I would not panic, I wouldn’t stress, we’re going to win football games, I promise you.”

Against the Eagles, Green Bay allowed just 294 total yards and held Jalen Hurts to only 183 passing yards on 15-of-26 pass completions.

Can the Packers stop their slide in Week 10?

Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts (1) is pursued by Green Bay defensive end Micah Parsons (1) the second quarter of their game Monday, November 10, 2025 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

With the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears taking care of their respective businesses in Week 10, the Packers have slid down to the third spot in the NFC North standings with a 5-3-1 record.

Green Bay will look to prevent a three-game skid this coming Sunday, when it visits the New York Giants in East Rutherford. It’s another winnable game, at least on paper, for the Packers, especially with New York having just fired head coach Brian Daboll on Monday.

In their last game on the road, the Packers defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8, 35-25.

Parsons (1) against the Carolina offensive tackle Yosh Nijman (77) on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. Carolina defeated Grewen Bay 16-13.
