Everton flop Dwight McNeil may finally have an exit route with Wolves.
McNeil has been out of favour under David Moyes, featuring just five times in all competitions for the Blues this season.
Mail Sport‘s Tom Collomosse claimed on 11 November that Wolves could try to sign the former Burnley star when the transfer window reopens, to try and turn around their campaign.
The Molineux club currently sit dead last in the top-flight, eight points from safety, with no wins from their opening 11 matches.

Wolves want Everton’s McNeil as Rob Edwards eyes reform
Collomoose claims that the Old Gold could be set to revert to a transfer policy of signing British players and players with experience in the Premier League under Rob Edwards, once his appointment is confirmed.

He states that McNeil could be a short-term option, with the potential for a loan swoop in January, as they pivot back to the new approach.
McNeil had previously been linked with a reunion with former Everton boss Sean Dyche, who is now in charge at Nottingham Forest, so they may face a battle to secure his services.

Why Dwight McNeil is surely set for Everton exit
McNeil has not been able to force his way into Moyes’ plans this season, despite playing 23 times last season.
The 25-year-old will surely be desperate to move on, as he has endured a dismal campaign, with just 51 minutes of action in the top-flight.
McNeil featured 21 times in the league, and twice in the cup last season
He notched five goals and eight assists in those appearances
He is behind the likes of Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish in the pecking order at the Hill Dickinson Stadium
He also featured in both of the Toffees’ Carabao Cup matches, for a total of 137 minutes, but now that they are out of that competition, it is difficult to see where the game time is going to come.
Both parties should jump at the chance if a suitable offer arrives, as it is clear that Moyes does not rate him highly, and he will want to play regular football.
