Chelsea are hoping that they enjoy a long and successful time together with Enzo Maresca as manager, after he earned himself a second season in charge of the club.
Maresca delivered both the Conference League and Club World Cup trophies at the end of his first campaign, and currently has the Blues third in the Premier League table.
Despite their impressive start on paper, Chelsea fans have shown discontent at Maresca throughout the 2025/26 season, although this has been vastly different to the reaction of him in the club.
Chelsea chiefs have been very impressed with Maresca, and the fact that he was the first manager since BlueCo came in to last longer than a season is something in itself.

Fulham interested in hiring potential future Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior
Insider Graeme Bailey has exclusively told The Chelsea Chronicle that they would love for Maresca to stay at the club for a number of seasons, however they already have their ideal successor lined up in Liam Rosenior.
However, Bailey goes on to say that the Strasbourg manager is being lined up for the role of Fulham manager, should they part ways with Marco Silva before his contract expires in the summer.
He said: “There’s loads of Championship jobs, and that’s not really a worry for BlueCo, but Chelsea, I think in an ideal world they would love for Rosenior to be the next Chelsea manager.
“Not until in three or four years’ time, but no but then again do they allow him to go. I think within the club they are discussing do they allow him to go to a Fulham to a Bournemouth if those jobs become available.
“Then it’s a natural progression to Chelsea anyway so basically there’s going to be more and more jobs coming up. So, yeah, it’s an interesting one for them to get into.”

Rosenior impressing at Strasbourg
After qualifying for the Conference League last season, Rosenior has helped Strasbourg to fourth in Ligue 1 so far in this campaign, just five points behind PSG.
They sit on seven points after three European games too, already almost certain to get through the group stages and into the knockout rounds.
They have certainly benefitted from players on loan from Chelsea. Andrey Santos and Djordje Petrovic both spent last season in France.
This year, Kendry Paez, Mamadou Sarr and Mike Penders are featuring regularly, with Emanuel Emegha already set to join the club at the end of the season too.
