At this point in the 2025 NFL season, everything for the Cleveland Browns is about the future. Whether that future is the 2026 NFL draft, the futures of GM Andrew Berry and HC Kevin Stefanski, or even the Browns roster as a whole.
As of now, the following are the only players (barring injury or a surprise trade) that can be considered locks for the 2026 Browns 53-man roster:
For most of the above players, the reasoning is easy and solid. On the other hand, Jeudy’s contract (almost no matter what, they’d lose more cap space by cutting or trading him) makes him almost certain to be back.
There are certainly a number of other players on the current Cleveland roster that will have spots (again, barring injury or trades) next year, like DT Adin Huntington, S Donovan McMillon, WRs Jamari Thrash and Cedric Tillman and even QBs Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. They just don’t seem to have roster spots locked down, just yet.
