Celtic don’t have a permanent manager in place right now, but it hasn’t stopped the rumour mill from swirling in full action.
Many Celtic fans would have seen in the summer that Raheem Sterling was linked with the Hoops, given that the winger has been sidelined by Chelsea.
Sterling has no future at Stamford Bridge, and he has trained away from the main squad this season, along with two other big-money signings.
Ahead of the January transfer window re-opening, his name has popped up on the Celtic radar again, as GRV’s football correspondent Graeme Bailey spoke exclusively to 67 Hail Hail.

Celtic have been ‘made aware’ of Chelsea trio Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi and Deivid Washington
Celtic will be busy in January, but 67 Hail Hail can reveal that three players they have been ‘made aware’ of by intermediaries are versatile winger Sterling, centre-back Axel Disasi and forward Deivid Washington.
We have been told that they are players who ‘could be options’ later during the winter transfer window.
‘Celtic have been made aware of the Chelsea trio potentially being available by intermediaries,’ shared Bailey.
‘That’s not to say they are options and approaches will be made, but they could be options later in the January transfer window.’

Sterling, Disasi and Washington’s Chelsea career in numbers
All three players are big-money signings, with Sterling moving to Chelsea from Manchester City in a £48 million deal in 2022.
Disasi was signed for just under £40 million in 2023, whilst Washington was brought in during the same summer for £17 million from Brazilian giants Santos.
But it’s fair to say all three of their careers at the London club have hit a brick wall, and it doesn’t seem as though it will change any time soon.
