Nick Sirianni is already doing damage control for A.J. Brown's latest comments

The Philadelphia Eagles have quite a bit of trouble brewing. That may sound crazy, considering the team is 7-2 during the 2025 NFL season and coming off a triumphant, albeit ugly, primetime win against the Green Bay Packers that catapulted them back to the top of the NFC playoff picture.

But A.J. Brown is apparently unhappy again after a two-catch, 13-yard performance on Monday Night Football. Last night, he hopped on a YouTube live stream and not only told his fantasy football owners to drop him, but also referred to his current situation as a (expletive) show.

It appears that there may not be a way to fully repair the seemingly fractured relationship between Brown and the Eagles. Brown has earned three straight Second-Team All-Pro honors, but he is on pace to have his lowest-production season yet in the NFL by a country mile.

Nick Sirianni quickly turned down the temperature on A.J. Brown's recent remarks

Head coach Nick Sirianni appeared on Sports Radio 94 WIP on Wednesday morning and, of course, was immediately asked about Brown's recent comments. Sirianni avoided making Brown the bad guy and did a bit of damage control.

"Yeah, I mean, you can, again, when there's obviously (the) ability to debate what he meant or what he said, or 'Hey, why did you say why there?' Sirianni said. "Listen, again, you go with your interactions with guys on a daily basis, and not what people are, I don't want to say. Not, what is it? Predicting. But interpreting or speculating, anything like that. We're going to continue to try to get better on offense. We played a great game on defense. We are in tune to what's going on here and the relationships that we have in here, and the process that we have in here, and A.J.'s all in."

This was the right move by Sirianni, as it is a delicate situation, and the Eagles need Brown to play at his best. Sirianni was right not to immediately speculate, at least not publicly, although most can make an educated guess as to what Brown was referring to.

It may give Philly fans a sense of comfort that Sirianni still believes Brown to be all in, and reporters like Eliot Shorr-Parks are also coming to Brown's defense in this matter. Perhaps the way the star wide receiver projects to the public is far, far different than the person he is in the locker room.

In the end, all that matters is what goes on inside the building, and hopefully, Sirianni, Brown, Kevin Patullo, and Jalen Hurts are hatching a plan to get their star wideout more involved. They seemed to have gotten a handle on the situation the last few weeks, but reverted in Week 10.

While Eagles fans are smart enough to read through the first part of Sirianni's quote, they are absolutely clinging to the last few words. An all-in A.J. Brown is impossible to stop, so it is becoming clear that the only thing that can slow down the Eagles in 2025 is the Eagles themselves.
