Leeds United fans are still pushing the narrative that Daniel Farke deserves to be sacked during the November break, and a manager who loves Marcelo Bielsa is available to replace him.
Four defeats in five, and five defeats in six Premier League away games have Leeds fans concerned. Not just because it is poor form, but it is against teams that Leeds needed to pick up points against.
Farke can continue to peddle the line that Leeds need a point a game and currently are abiding by that aim. But Leeds have failed to pick up points against Forest, Brighton, Fulham, and Burnley recently.
Now, it means Farke and Leeds need to get something from games against Aston Villa, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool in their next four. LeedsUnited.News understands Farke has until January to save his job.
Realistically, Leeds could easily lose all four games. If the pressure is big now, imagine it after four straight defeats between now and December 6. In terms of replacements, a big Marcelo Bielsa fan is out of work.

Thiago Motta remains out of work, he is a known Bielsa disciple
After retirement in 2018 at PSG, Thiago Motta immediately began his managerial career. PSG’s U19 side, followed Genoa, then Spezia. His big break in the managerial world came when appointed at Bologna.
The Athletic report that Motta loves Bielsa and his teams play accordingly. Perhaps not the chaos of a Bielsa side, but the man-marking, all-energy style performances that Leeds fans came to know and love.
Club Games W-D-L Points PPG
PSG U19’s 26 18-4-4 58 2.23
Genoa 10 2-3-5 9 0.90
Spezia 40 11-6-23 39 0.98
Bologna 76 35-23-18 128 1.68
Juventus 42 18-16-8 80 1.67
Motta averaged 1.68 points a game at Bologna and guided Bologna into the Champions League for the first time in 60 years, getting the best out of Man United’s Joshua Zirkzee and Scot, Lewis Ferguson.

It saw him join Juventus, but things did not work out and after 42 games, he was sacked in March of this year. Motta has remained out of work, with Juventus’ issues remaining and now seen as a long-term issue.

Leeds need something different, something exciting like Motta
Farke has emptied the excitement and enjoyment out of the crowd. Ultimately, Leeds fans attend Elland Road knowing that their side are relying on the support, but as Leeds lose, that enthusiasm is draining.
If The 49ers are to sack Farke, their replacement must be capable of reinstating that vigour. Bielsa himself remains in work, ahead of a World Cup year. There is no chance the Argentine leaves Uruguay right now.
So, why not get a young and exciting manager that applies similar-ish principles? Motta remains out of work and would not require any compensation if he was to come and replace Farke in the Leeds hotseat.
Whether Motta could be tempted by Leeds, remains to be seen. But if Leeds are to appoint a new gaffer, Motta has got to be considered by The 49ers and Paraag Marathe, because he would excite fans again.
