EXCLUSIVE:Calahan Skogman (Shadow & Bone) and Thomas Q. Jones (P-Valley) have been cast in key recurring roles on Dan Fogelman‘s as-yet untitled football drama for Hulu, starring Christopher Meloni.
Created and written by Fogelman, the series is set inside the world of the NFL and has a generational family component to it.
Details of Skogman and Jones’ roles are under wraps, but we hear they will play football players.
Meloni plays the team’s head coach Danny, with fellow series regulars Sam Corlett and Tanner Zagarino as his sons, William H. Macy as the team owner Hank, Mandy Moore and Chloe Bennet as Hank’s daughters, and Chace Crawford as the team’s new General Manager. Omar Epps and Michael McGrady also will recur.

The series, from 20th Television and Skydance Sports, is executive produced by Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal and Kevin Falls. Also executive producing are David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold and Jason T. Reed for Skydance Sports.
Skogman is known for his role as Matthias on both seasons of Netflix’s Shadow & Bone. He can be seen most recently on the film side in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell. Skogman is repped by Sweeney Entertainment and TalentWorks.
Jones, former NFL Pro Bowl running back-turned-actor is known for his breakout performance as Mane, a series regular on Starz’s drama P-Valley. He also was a series regular on Johnson, which is currently streaming on Hulu, and portrayed Comanche on Marvel’s Luke Cage. He can currrently recurs on and executive produces G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Raised In The South) for AMC/AllBlk. Jones is repped by Aligned Talent Group and The Gersh Agency.
