Eduardo Camavinga is a doubt for France vs Ukraine – report

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is a doubt for France’s first international match of the break against Ukraine in the World Cup Qualifiers, according to Fabrice Hawkins.

The player has pain in his hamstring, and it remains to be seen how serious it is, and whether he will be able to play the game against Ukraine.

Camavinga was one of only two players who have gone to France from Real Madrid to train and play during the international break, as Aurelien Tchouameni pulled out due to injury right before the break.

Real Madrid cannot afford to lose their only other option as the pivot, as Tchouameni is set to miss games before the clash against Olympiacos.

France play Ukraine at home on Thursday, before travelling to face Azerbaijan on Sunday evening in the hopes of solidifying their lead at the top of their qualifying group.

Real Madrid would hope that the injury is not serious, and that the player can swiftly return to Madrid without any trouble.
