The fourth episode of City Stories will perhaps be the most difficult for Blues supporters to watch.

City Stories - Episode 2: The Unluckiest Game In City History?](https://www.mancity.com/citytv/city-plus/city-stories-bolton-wanderers-defeat-2005-63878689)
We rewind back to April 2019 on CITY+ and the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Tottenham Hotspur.
City had topped the group stage ahead of Lyon, Shakhtar Donetsk and Hoffenheim before comfortably seeing off Schalke 10-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16.
That included a 7-0 Etihad victory over the German Bundesliga side.
Pep Guardiola was hoping for more home comforts as we approached the last eight deciding leg against Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Son Heung-min’s only goal had given Spurs a slender lead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium heading into a truly exciting and intriguing contest in Manchester.
CITY STORIES - EPISODE ONE: THE MOST VIRAL MOMENT IN OUR HISTORY?
What followed was a barnstorming battle which ebbed and flowed and then ebbed and flowed some more.
There was a blink-and-you-miss-it opening with Raheem Sterling putting us ahead before Son gave the visitors the lead with a quickfire double. Bernardo Silva then levelled matters – and all in the space of just 11 minutes!
Sterling scored again and then Sergio Aguero put us 4-2 up as the clock ticked past an hour but there was to be more drama as Fernando Llorente made it 4-3 on the evening and 4-4 on aggregate.
What followed was delight and then dejection, amazement followed by anguish, happiness followed by heartbreak.
We thought we’d won it and made it through to the last four when Sterling bagged a late, late hat-trick but VAR would intervene cruelly, meaning the Londoners progressed on away goals.
Check out the story of that evening with the thoughts of Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, journalist Paul Hirst as well as supporters Winston Carrington and David Mooney.
