'You have to': Alan Brazil now weighs in on Eddie Howe sack debate as some Newcastle United…

**Eddie Howe is not under pressure as Newcastle United manager despite the poor start to the Premier League campaign; however, you'd be led to think he was by the coverage in the media over the last couple of days.**

The Mirror and The Star have gone as far as to publish a shortlist of four managers who could potentially replace Eddie Howe if he were given the chop. Although they did preface it by saying that they also don't believe he's actually anywhere close to being given the axe.

Depending on where you peek on social media, however, you may well see plenty of Newcastle fans who have lost patience with Howe after this latest run of poor form.

It's nothing new. We see some of our so-called fans reaching for the bedsheets to scrawl "Howe Out" on them as soon as we lose a game. It's the nature of the beast.

Alan Brazil says talk of sacking Eddie Howe is a 'joke'

-------------------------------------------------------

You know that a situation is insane when you find that even human blood blister Alan Brazil is fighting Newcastle's corner. The TalkSPORT host, who famously riled up Jeff Stelling by peddling the "players don't want to move to Newcastle" narrative, has given his thoughts on whether Newcastle should look to sack Eddie Howe.

Alex Crook spoke about how the talk of sacking is purely coming from social media.

> “Any noise around Eddie Howe is only coming from social media. I think the Newcastle owners and the bulk of Newcastle fans see he has enough credit in the bank to turn this around.”

In response, Alan Brazil backed him up by saying Newcastle have to stick with Howe.

> “It’s difficult, you can wait too long to make a change but, Eddie Howe, forget it, it’s a joke. You have to stay with Eddie.”

Eddie Howe has a 100% success rate when it comes to recovering from a tough spell with Newcastle

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We've already made the point today, but this isn't the first blip in form we've suffered under Howe and he so far has a 100% record of turning it around and more often than not, we've surprised a lot of people come the end of the season.

We had a shaky start to last season, and look what happened. We won a cup and qualified for the Champions League. Granted, this start has been decidedly worse in the Premier League, but we are still in the cup, and we're even on track to qualify for the next round of the Champions League.

It's not all as bad as we think when we're watching them struggle to play on a weekend away from home. That away form will come. Patience is a virtue.
