Leeds United defender Joe Rodon has named the Leeds United player that he messages more than any other member of their squad.
The morale in the Leeds United squad took a hit on the verge of the international break, as they slipped to a 3-1 Premier League defeat to Nottingham Forest.
While Leeds boss Daniel Farke stares down the barrel of two weeks spent mulling over how to arrest his side’s slide, a sizable Leeds contingent will link up with their national teams.
Joe Rodon will be one of several Leeds players to join up with the Wales squad, as they prepare for crucial games against Liechtenstein and North Macedonia in their World Cup qualifying campaign.
On the verge of the break, Rodon has revealed that one of Leeds’ Welsh contingent is the teammate whom he messages the most, highlighting their strong bond on and off the field.

Joe Rodon has only played more games with one player other than Ethan Ampadu
Having shared the field for both Wales and Leeds over their careers, Rodon and Ampadu know all about each other’s game.
According to the data from TransferMarkt, Rodon and Ampadu have played a total of 131 games together across their careers, at club and international level.
Most games played with Joe Rodon:
Dan James – 200
Ethan Ampadu – 131
Connor Roberts – 121

Heading into the international break, only one player has played with Rodon more times than Ampadu, and it is another of Rodon’s Leeds teammates.
Dan James has played a whopping 200 games with Rodon, having also spent time together at Swansea at the start of their careers. With both expected to play a big role for Leeds over the rest of the season, that tally will only continue to grow.
