Manchester United continued their 100 per cent record in the Champions League with a 2-1 victory over PSG.

The Reds started slowly but took the lead on 31 minutes as Melvine Malard outmuscled the defender to curl the ball beyond returning ex-England goalkeeper, Mary Earps. United would have deserved to be ahead at the break, but a wonder strike from Olga Carmona ensured it was all square at the interval.

United got their lead back just before the hour mark thanks to Fridolina Rolfo's header.

Here are MEN Sport's player ratings;

Safia Middleton-Patel

Nearly beaten by a wonder strike after two minutes, then was on the brink of half-time. Huge save to keep things level immediately after the break. 6

Jayde Riviere

Got the fans off their seats with a neat knock past an attacker and did well to recover when she was rarely beaten. Did well to stop attacks late on. 7

Maya Le Tissier

Strong header from a corner cleared, but was lucky not to score an own goal before the first half equaliser. Mostly dependable at the back. 6

Gabby George

Spread the play well to Rolfo, pretty comfortable on the ball. Steady alongside Le Tissier. 6

Anna Sandberg

Dealt with the dangerous Rasheedat Ajibade well before she was subbed. Produced a great cross for Rolfo's header. 7

Hinata Miyazawa

Largely anonymous at the start of the game, lacked composure for a shot over the bar. Improved slightly after the break. 6

Simi Awujo

Made herself available as United looked to break the lines. Was part of the lovely move for United’s second before coming off. 6

Julia Zigiotti Olme

Sloppy in possession first half, found it difficult at Old Trafford. 5

Jess Park

Shot blocked well in the first half but didn't threaten as much as hoped at first. Spearheaded the attack for United's second and was much better after the break. 7

Melvine Malard

Always caused PSG defence troubles and did excellently to curl the ball beyond Earps. A constant threat throughout, hopefully she was taken off as a precaution. 8

Fridolina Rolfo

A relative threat on the left and cutting inside her defender. Fine header for United’s second goal. 7

From the bench;

Ella Toone

A quiet cameo but did nothing wrong. 6

Elisabeth Terland

N/A

Leah Galton

Did well to make a cross at the byline. 6

Rachel Williams
