The Detroit Pistons, who have won seven straight games, host the Chicago Bulls, who have lost three straight, on Wednesday night.
How to Watch Chicago Bulls vs Detroit Pistons
The Pistons (9-2) own the best record in the Eastern Conference. However, one of their losses was to the Chicago Bulls (6-4). Chicago has lost three in a row since a 6-1 start and lost their first game at home on Monday night. The Bulls played that game without point guard Josh Giddey (ankle), and the Pistons played Monday without Tobias Harris, Isaiah Stewart, Ausar Thompson, and Caris LeVert.
However, the Pistons’ best player did play. Cade Cunningham needed an NBA season-high 45 shots on Monday night, and he carried the team to a 137-135 overtime win against the Washington Wizards. Cunningham posted a triple-double in the win with 46 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists, while also nabbing five steals.
The Bulls played the San Antonio Spurs in their last game and had no answer for Victor Wembanyama in the fourth quarter. The Spurs rallied for a 121-117 win behind Wembanyama’s 18 points in the period. Kevin Huerter, starting for the first time this season, led the Bulls with 23 points, while Tre Jones and Ayo Dosunmu tossed in 20 points each.
The Bulls beat the Pistons in Chicago, 115-111, on Oct. 22 in the season opener for both teams.
