After a physical game against the Seahawks, the Cardinals shifted around their practice schedule. On Wednesday, the team held a closed walkthrough, making the injury designations an estimation.
Baron Browning came to the facility on Monday and was evaluated for a concussion according to coach Jonathan Gannon. He was put in concussion protocol. Gannon also ruled out Mack Wilson Sr. with a ribs injury. The linebacker missed last weekend's game as well, which allowed for rookie Cody Simon to record his first start.
Safety Rabbit Taylor-Demerson (ankle) and right tackle Jonah Williams (shoulder) also did not practice.
Defensive lineman Walter Nolen III left Sunday's game with a knee injury and he was working on a limited basis. Another player who left early with an injury was running back Bam Knight. The ankle injury made him a limited participant on Wednesday.
Cornerback Will Johnson did not participate on Wednesday. He was inactive against Seattle with a back/hip issue. Cornerback Max Melton entered concussion protocol last week. He was listed as limited.
Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will be [out this week following appendicitis surgery](https://www.azcardinals.com/news/marvin-harrison-jr-sidelined-after-appendicitis) on Monday Night.
Question marks continue to swirl around the 49ers and who they will start at quarterback. Brock Purdy was a limited participant with a lingering toe problem. Kyle Shanahan said that practice for Purdy will be "aggressive" and there is hope that he can make his return against the Cardinals.
