The Jets will be shorthanded when they take on the New England Patriots on Thursday night.

New York downgraded wide receiver Garrett Wilson and cornerback Azareye’h Thomas to out on Wednesday.

Wilson reinjured his knee last week against the Cleveland Browns when he came down hard attempting to catch a deep pass.

Wilson has 36 catches for 395 yards and four touchdowns for the Jets this season.

Thomas is in concussion protocol after hitting his head on the first play of the second quarter on Sunday. The rookie cornerback was starting in place of Sauce Gardner, who the Jets traded to the Indianapolis Colts at this year’s deadline.

The Jets go into Thursday’s game having won their last two games. They face a Patriots team that’s 8-2, atop the AFC East standings and in the midst of a seven-game win streak.

New England will also be shorthanded as it will be without four of its starters.
