Titans WR Calvin Ridley returns to practice after missing 3 games

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Wide receiver Calvin Ridley returned to practice for the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday, providing a much-needed boost to the team’s offense after missing three games with a hamstring injury.

Ridley, who last played in Week 6 against the Raiders, admitted to feeling “a little rusty” in terms of conditioning. Despite his absence, he remains second on the team with 290 yards on 16 catches, but has yet to record a touchdown this season.

“I mean, just the overall of the season, not happy at this point,” Ridley said. “But we got eight more games. We still could all put a smile on our face and go out there and make some plays, and have fun.”

Quarterback Cam Ward emphasized Ridley’s importance, stating, “Just the way he can take a defense, you know, over the top is something we’ve missed. It’s good to have one of our best receivers back, and he’s ready to make some plays.”

Ridley’s return comes at a critical time as the Titans prepare to host AFC South rival Houston this week. The Texans shut out the Titans in their last meeting in Week 3, the first time Tennessee had been blanked since 2019.
