Wednesday's Injury Report
For the second week in a row, the Seahawks opened their practice week with what they refer to as an ACT practice, a lower-intensity practice focused on alignment, communication and technique that allows the team to get good work in while taking it easier on players' bodies.
Because of that, Wednesday's injury report is an estimation of participation had they held a full practice, and that estimated report showed some progress for multiple players who missed Seattle's Week 10 win over Arizona due to injury.
Linebacker Ernest Jones IV (knee), receiver Tory Horton (shin/heel) and cornerback Josh Jobe (concussion) were all listed as limited after missing Sunday's game. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said their status for this week's game isn't yet known, but said things are looking positive.
"We're still going to work through those guys right now," Macdonald said. "It's looking positive, we're optimistic. They'll be working in some capacity today, but it's going to vary between a true walkthrough and ACT practice, which is kicked up a little bit."
Receive Jake Bobo, who also missed last weekend's game due to a calf injury, was listed as a full participant.
Only one player was held out of practice due to injury, center Jalen Sundell, who is expected to miss multiple games with a knee injury. Guard Christian Haynes, who is in his third week back since returning to practice from injured reserve, was again a full participant, and Macdonald said Haynes may be activated from IR ahead of Sunday's game. Haynes can continue practicing into next week without being added to the 53-man roster, but has to be added to the roster in order to play.
For the Rams, two players did not participate, including starting receiver Davante Adams, who has an oblique injury. While Adams did not practice, Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters in LA that they expect the veteran receiver will be able to play Sunday. Also not practicing was defensive tackle Kobie Turner (back), while receiver Jordan Whittington was limited (back).
