The young midfielder had a disrupted first two campaigns at the club.
He first picking up a knee injury which saw him miss the first eight games of his debut season, before making 27 appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions – although in the league he started at most three games in a row.
Scott made 23 appearances last term, and again missed a big chunk through a meniscus injury, before getting a run in the squad towards the end of the season.
But this term, after winning the Euros with England U21s in the summer, Scott has hit the ground running, starting all but one of Bournemouth’s games so far.

That has earned him his first call up to the England senior squad, and, speaking to the media ahead of the Three Lions’ game vs Serbia, Scott said he has been loving being injury free.
“It was definitely difficult,” he said, when asked about his troubles with injury.
“Obviously, I had a great time at Bristol City where I suffered no injuries whatsoever. I played most of the games there.
“And then you finally get your dream move to the Premier League, and as soon as you go in, you're out for two, three months. So that was tough to take.
“Since then, it's been injury on injury, obviously the bad knee injury last year, and things were starting to look on the up and then I go and break my jaw in the last two games of the season.

“So it’s been tough. The injuries have been tough. I've had great people around me, obviously, my family being number one and all the staff at Bournemouth, my friends as well, just getting around me and making sure I'm okay at all times and pushing me, to be honest.
“The club were brilliant. Anyone there I could speak to if I was feeling down or not feeling great at all, so, yeah, they definitely helped there, but at times it was definitely tough.
“I'm glad I've come out the other end and finally getting a run of games with no injuries, that's the most important thing. I'm just happy to be playing football again.”

Asked what he had learned about himself through those difficult times, Scott said: “It was more that I can get through this and I can get myself back playing and back fit.
“I think after the last knee injury I had last season, I think I came back into the team and played five or six games in a row, because before that I was looking at it and I hadn't started more than two games in a row.
“So I never really got into that rhythm of playing.
“I feel like when I overcame that injury and started playing a bit more, it was almost to prove to myself that I can do it at the top level.
“Obviously the Euros definitely helped in the summer coming into this season, getting me a lot of confidence.
“I came back to preseason and I wanted to fight for a start position, which I didn't have too many opportunities last season to start games, and then, yeah, started the season pretty well.
“I feel like a lot of that comes from the confidence I took from winning the Euros.”
