Former Everton defender Conor Coady has been eyed for a surprise Premier League return ahead of the January transfer window.
Everton are settled with David Moyes at the helm, but we have now seen another Premier League managerial change.
One-time Toffees target Vitor Pereira was axed by Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, and a replacement has now been confirmed.
Rob Edwards has left his post as Middlesbrough boss to take over at Wolves.
Everton beat Wolves earlier in the season, and Edwards inherits a side without a Premier League win this season.

Former Everton defender Conor Coady eyed by Wolves
Edwards will want signings in January, and one former Everton man has already been linked in a strange move.
The Telegraph report that Wolves have ‘made a move’ for Wrexham defender Conor Coady.
The plan would allegedly be for Coady to coach at Wolves, though he would also be able to step in and play.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The 32-year-old spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Everton as Kevin Thelwell reunited with the centre-back.
Coady joined Wrexham this past summer, completing a £2million move from Leicester City.
Coady has struggled in the Championship, though, and has played just five league games this season.
A return to Wolves is considered ‘unlikely’, with Coady potentially keen to continue his playing career at this stage.
Coady has also dabbled in the media, so a move into coaching right now may not be in his plans, despite struggling at Wrexham.
Seeing Coady playing in the Premier League would leave many Everton fans baffled, but it looks like a return to Wolves will prove tricky.

Former Everton defender won’t join Wolves coaching staff
Wolves may continue to explore a deal for Coady in the coming weeks, but another former Everton centre-back won’t be joining Edwards at Wolves.
The Telegraph claim that Joleon Lescott will not be joining Wolves’ coaching staff despite speculation over a return to Molineux.
Lescott has coached in the England setup and has close ties to Wolves, having played almost 250 games for the club before joining Everton in 2006.
Edwards’ coaching team has not been confirmed just yet, but it sounds like Lescott won’t be heading back to Wolves – and Coady may not make a comeback either.
