Marcus Rashford has taken no time to win over the Barcelona faithful.
The English forward, currently on loan from Manchester United, has adapted brilliantly to his new life, making an instant impact both in front of goal and as a creator.
With six goals and eight assists already to his name, Rashford has stepped up whenever Raphinha or Robert Lewandowski have been unavailable, proving to be one of Hansi Flick’s most effective attacking weapons.
His form this season marks a clear improvement on his final years at Manchester United. What stands out most, however, is not just his scoring ability but the new dimension he has brought to Barcelona’s set pieces.
A threat from corners
Rashford’s deliveries from corners have been nothing short of transformative.
Before his arrival, Barça rarely looked threatening from dead-ball situations. Now, the team has already scored four goals from corners, with three of those assists coming directly from Rashford’s crosses.

Whether swinging the ball in from the left flank or from the right, Rashford’s accuracy has made him the team’s new specialist from wide set pieces.
The likes of Lewandowski, Ronald Araujo, and Jules Kounde have already benefited from his precise deliveries, turning those corners into genuine scoring chances.
Not as threatening in free kicks
However, when it comes to direct free kicks, the Englishman is still chasing his first success this season.
Out of the 16 free kicks taken by the team this season, Rashford has stepped up for the last six, with his closest effort being the one that rattled the post against Girona.
Despite the long wait, fans remain optimistic that his first will come soon.
