Exclusive: Chelsea ready to make a move for Real Madrid's Endrick after Xabi Alonso's brutal decision

The Chelsea Chronicle can reveal that Chelsea are ready to make a move for Real Madrid striker Endrick in January and will offer him the chance to rebuild his career in England.

Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in 2024 in a deal worth close to £50million and arrived in a blaze of glory, having snubbed a move to the likes of Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, things have really not gone to plan in the Spanish capital for the teenager.

The Chelsea Chronicle is told that new Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has decided that Endrick can leave with the club’s hierarchy open to a loan, although some believe that they should move on from him.

Chelsea ready to make move to sign Endrick

A host of clubs have been making enquiries and it is believed French giants Lyon are working on a deal that could see Endrick join them on-loan for the rest of the season.

But The Chelsea Chronicle can now reveal that Chelsea, who as we previously revealed still admire Endrick hugely, have kept close tabs on his situation and they believe he can add something to their squad and are ready to take a chance on him.

The Chelsea Chronicle is told that Endrick would love the chance to link-up with good friend Estevao, with the two having come through the Palmeiras academy together.

Our transfer insider Graeme Bailey confirmed: “I have been hearing Chelsea have been following Endrick’s situation for weeks and are ready to offer him the chance to rebuild his career in West London.

“I think Chelsea have room in their star-studded squad for another striker in January and I am now told that they could be the ideal place for Endrick to kick-start his career.

“Real for their part would take a loan with an option, whilst some at Real think he could still have a future – some believe the time is right to move him on, so let’s see what January brings but I am told Endrick could very well arrive at Stamford Bridge this January.”

Chelsea ready to add more competition up front

The striker position is one where Chelsea have been short for the majority of the season following Liam Delap’s serious injury to start the season.

Joao Pedro has been forced to play up front for the majority of the campaign, and even though Pedro has been named in the Team of the Season so far, he does his best work behind the number nine.

The Blues have secured the future addition of Emanuel Emegha from the end of the season, however still look very keen to jump on any potential opportunistic signings in the position.

Endrick represents this and the Blues have the perfect case study in providing a launching pad for one of the best young Brazilians in world football when looking at Estevao Willian’s start to life at Stamford Bridge.
