They are the only Northern venues selected for the tournament, as well as Hampden Park north of the border in Glasgow. They will join Wembley Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Villa Park in Birmingham, Dublin Arena, and the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff as hosts.

The match schedule was unveiled on Wednesday evening at an official UEFA launch event in London, attended by Everton’s Chief Real Estate and Regeneration Officer Colin Chong and Director of New Stadium Development Alix Waldron, alongside Liverpool and Halton Council Leaders, Cllr Liam Robinson and Cllr Mike Wharton.

At the same time, the Everton Stadium host venue logo was revealed on the stadium’s screens, while its striking blue and violet colour scheme illuminated the club’s new waterfront home. Across the city, the Liverpool tournament logo appeared on landmarks including the Cunard Building, Royal Albert Dock and Royal Liver Building.

The five fixtures at Everton Stadium are expected to deliver a multi-million-pound boost to the Liverpool City Region economy, while Manchester and Newcastle are also set to benefit from international tourism and global exposure.

In total, more than three million tickets will be available across all host cities, with UEFA promising the largest-ever community programme to accompany a EURO tournament. Kick-off times for all fixtures will be confirmed after the main draw in December 2027.
