**James Ward-Prowse is looking likely to be a player departing the club in the upcoming January transfer window, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
The midfielder has seen his game time vanish since the arrival of Nuno Espírito Santo, having been a regular starter under former boss Graham Potter.
Reporting this week on The West Ham Way Podcast, club insider Ex has provided an update on the current situation, whilst dismissing rumours of a fallout between player and manager.
“Although Ward-Prowse has been been pretty much banished from the first team since Nuno arrived, there has been no fallout between the pair,” stated Ex.
“Nuno wants pace and energy in his midfield and Ward-Prowse just doesn’t fit that profile. Which means he is highly likely at this stage to leave in the new year.
“His former club Southampton where he was captain are prepared to take him back.
“We also understand that David Moyes has shown interest in possibly taking him up to Everton.”
Ex also advised that it’s likely the Guido Rodriguez gets given the green light to leave, which is also likely to be the case for Andy Irving.
