If the Titans get the first overall pick and the Cleveland Browns want to jump up the board then their package is likely to be the most appealing for a General Manager going into his second season and needing to turn the team around.
Here are the last three trades in NFL Drafts for teams to move into the top three to select a quarterback as teams will pay more for these than jumping up to select other players:
2023 - Chicago traded a first-round selection (1st overall) to Carolina in exchange for first- and second-round selections (9th and 61st overall), a 2024 first-round selection, a 2025 second-round selection and WR D. J. Moore.
2021 - Miami traded a first-round selection (3rd overall) to San Francisco in exchange for a first-round selection (12th overall), 2022 first and third-round selections, and a 2023 first-round selection.
2018 - Indianapolis traded a first-round selection (3rd) to the Jets in exchange for the Jets' first-round selection (6th), two second-round selections (37th and 49th), and a second-round selection in 2019.
From this I could see a realistic trade package of Browns 2026 first round pick, Jaguars 2026 first round pick and the Browns 2027 second round pick.
While that could be a significant deal, if it gets you a franchise quarterback for the long term then it is going to be worth it. This could all be for nothing if the top two picks go to the Jets and Saints where they select both Fernando Mendoza and Ty Simpson. It would probably make the Jaguars pick a potential quarterback selection for the Browns depending how things go.
