It's never always been easy this year, but the 7-2 Eagles are just that - 7-2. You can't argue with a team's record, but it is clear that they have regressed a bit from the 2024 Super Bowl team. Still, despite the slight regression, Philly is in a position to win the NFC East yet again and could host multiple playoff games.
While they might not be quite as good as teams like the LA Rams and Seattle Seahawks, they're hanging with them record-wise, and this could come in handy down the stretch. It feels like it's going to be a bloodbath for the top few seeds in the NFC playoffs.
Philly earning that no. 1 seed and being able to host the playoffs would do a long way in their chances at repeating this year. Let's predict their next three games after their Week 10 win.
Predicting Philly's next three games after huge Week 10 win
Week 11 vs. Detroit Lions
The Eagles are on primetime for the second week in a row, as they play on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions this upcoming week.
It'll be a shorter week for the Eagles, but they get this one at home. The one worry I have is that the Eagles will be at a QB disadvantage this week, and I am not sure they have the speed on defense to hang with the Lions' play-makers.
Detroit didn't break a sweat and beat the Washington Commanders in Week 10, so I do believe this ends up being a close loss for the Eagles, but there really is no shame in losing to the Lions. Detroit edges this one out by a few points.
Prediction: Lions win 27-24 (7-3)
Week 12 @ Dallas Cowboys
The Eagles are on the road in Week 12 and play the Dallas Cowboys, who were aggressive at the trade deadline and could sport a much-improved defense. Dallas is typically impossible to contain on offense at home, so I am a bit worried about this one.
But their secondary is still a liability, and there is no guarantee that the defensive additions of Logan Wilson and Quinnen Williams will improve things. Philly gets back on track and wins this one
Prediction: Eagles win 30-23 (8-3)
Week 13 vs. Chicago Bears
The Eagles then actually play on Black Friday. They're in Chicago to face the Bears, and this could be quite the game. Chicago is 6-3 on the season, so they aren't some slouches, but the defense has been a problem, as they cannot generate consistent pressure.

While the Bears might end up being a Wild Card team this year and could be in good hands with Ben Johnson, they just do not have the firepower to compete with the Eagles at this point. I believe Chicago can keep it close, but the better team pulls away in the end and starts another winning streak.
Prediction: Eagles win 31-20 (9-3)
