Week 11 opponent: What the Eagles are saying

3. Because the Eagles played in Green Bay Monday night, they have less time to prepare for the Lions on Sunday. Sirianni said they did some prep work on Detroit during their Week 9 bye because they knew they'd be on a short week facing a top NFC opponent.

"We were able to get a little bit of that done there," he said. "Obviously, when we get back late on a Monday, you're a day behind but you're hoping everything you did prior to that gets you caught up."

Sirianni seemed confident they'll be ready for Detroit from a game plan perspective come Sunday night.

4. Philadelphia hasn't been as dominant offensively this season as we've been used to seeing the last few years under Sirianni as they rank 23rd in total offense and are 21st and 25th in the run and pass elements.

"It's just about being consistent," Sirianni said Wednesday of his offense. "There's been games we've been consistent throughout the game and there's been games we've sputtered at times. I think it's always about continuing to excel and trying to get better. We would have the same mindset if we scored 40 in that game (vs. Green Bay) of coming back to work and trying to get better as if we scored 10."

The Eagles scored just 10 points Monday against the Packers but got the win and have scored less than 20 points in three of their last five contests, including losses to the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants.
