NFL power rankings: AFC East Week 11

With the New England Patriots (8-2), Miami Dolphins (3-7), and New York Jets (2-7) all winning, Week 10 was a solid week for the AFC East. The division’s lone loss came in the form of the Buffalo Bills (6-3) suffering a surprising defeat at the hands of the Dolphins. With ten weeks of the 2025 NFL Season behind us, let’s take a look at the Week 11 AFC East Divisional Power Rankings.

The New York Jets were more or less inept on offense in their 27-20 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. They didn’t top 200 total yards and got more than half of their points from special teams touchdowns. However, a win is a win, and New York now has two of them on the season. They won’t get many style points for the win over Cleveland, but the Jets will take any win they get at this point.

The Miami Dolphins were sellers at the trade deadline, but came away with a huge 30-13 upset of the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. De’Von Achane put up over 200 all-purpose yards and has solidified his standing as one of the best running backs in the league. The Dolphins defense also held the Bills scoreless for three quarters, so this was a great all-around win for Miami.

#2 Buffalo Bills (6-3)

The Buffalo Bills have had a strange season as they’ve beaten the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, but have been thoroughly beaten by the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. There’s still time for the Bills to catch the New England Patriots, but they’ll have to turn things around quickly after their embarrassing 30-13 loss to the Dolphins.

The New England Patriots have had a relatively easy schedule during their seven-game win streak, but their 28-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers definitely adds some credibility. The Patriots are arguably the biggest surprise in the NFL this season, and have now opened up a 1.5 game lead over the Buffalo Bills (while also currently holding the head-to-head tiebreaker).

The Patriots and Jets will face off in New England on Thursday Night Football, while the Bills will face a tough home test against the Buccaneers on Sunday. The Dolphins will join the Commanders in playing the first NFL game in Madrid ever, as Miami looks to continue Washington’s five-game losing streak.
