After all the chaos surrounding A.J. Brown's comment, hitting the media and the franchise, Philadelphia Eagles fans would have thought two things: one, they're a losing team, and two, they were a reality show, not a football team. All fans forgot that football still needs to be played, and they are dealing with some injuries.
The Eagles released the first injury report ahead of their Week 11 showdown with the Detroit Lions. There was some good news as starting center Cam Jurgens practiced for the first time in a few weeks, working his way back from a knee injury, but it was on a limited basis. Additionally, a limited participant was the entire Eagles starting offensive line: Lane Johnson (ankle), Landon Dickerson (quad), and Tyler Steen (oblique).
There were five players as well who were full participants in practice (keep in mind this was a walkthrough practice, so these are all estimates):
Cal Adomitis, LS (Finger)
Jakorian Bennett, CB (Pectoral)
Darius Cooper, WR (Shoulder)
Willie Lampkin, OL (Knee/Ankle)
Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE (Triceps)
Eagles' offensive line is banged-up going into Lions game
Johnson might be the biggest concern as he missed most of the 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers with the ankle injury, but came back late in the fourth quarter to gut it out. The Eagles' offense has struggled to function when Johnson is out of the lineup. If he can't go, Fred Johnson would step in at right tackle.
Jurgens, at least, is showing good progress after missing several games with the knee injury. Brett Toth has held his own at center, but Jurgens can really help this offensive line perform better.
Eagles fans will be monitoring Bennett's progress throughout the week, as they would love for him to return and try to compete for the CB2 job. With Jaire Alexander now out of the picture as he steps away from football, Bennett could challenge Adoree' Jackson for that job.

It's a short week for the Eagles, so any time missed at practice is huge. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni will have some interesting decisions on how to get the team at its healthiest for a tough Lions team that could end up being a preview of the NFC Championship game.
