Manchester United loanee Radek Vitek has been turning heads with a string of outstanding performances this season.
Goalkeeper Vitek is currently on loan at Bristol City and has earned plaudits for his crucial saves.
He has now revealed that United head coach Ruben Amorim wanted him to go on loan and refine his raw skills.
He said (via Sky Sports): “I knew I was going to go on loan this season because I had an agreement with the coach it was the best thing to do and get more experience at a higher level than last year.
“It was a no-brainer because to play in the Championship for a club such as Bristol City for me was really attractive.
“I said yes straight away after I spoke with Gerhard Struber.”

Vitek has earned five clean sheets and is just two clean sheets behind table topper Carl Rushworth.
His heroic displays have been instrumental in pushing Bristol City up to eighth place in the Championship table.
The 22-year-old was deservedly crowned Player of the Month for August.
Standing at an imposing 6ft 6in, his towering presence makes it easier for him to claim high balls or clear danger.
His save percentage stands at an impressive 73%, higher than that of Senne Lammens (67%).
