Terry Bradshaw is regularly seen playing golf without shoes, especially when out in Hawaii, where he regularly vacations while having a home on the island.

One of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Bradshaw grew up in a humble home in northern Louisiana, where he was always seen as a talented football prospect. He went on to earn a scholarship at Louisiana Tech before eventually becoming the first overall pick in the 1970 NFL Draft class.

Bradshaw is now a Pro Football Hall of Famer, as well as a College Football Hall of Famer, while on our screens every Sunday with his FOX NFL Sunday team - not afraid of cracking jokes or being the butt of them.

The 77-year-old his never one to shy away from telling wild tales of his past, with a recent podcast appearance seeing him admit to the bizarre behavior he had at school.

Speaking on the 'Nothing Left Unsaid' podcast, Bradshaw said: "I grew up in a middle-class family in Shreveport, Louisiana.

"Father was a welder, mother was a housewife. We walked to school, maybe four, but I didn't like wearing shoes.

"So I would leave the house with shoes on my feet, but I wouldn't wear them to school. I would stick them in pipes that were on the way to school and hide them so nobody would steal them. I would go to school bare-footed.

"I don't know why... I liked to feel the grass and dirt under my feet."

Bradshaw has been pictured golfing without his shoes on on several occasions, suggesting he still is not a fan of wearing them.

Thankfully, he does wear shoes when on FOX NFL Sunday, with analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, and Curt Menefee.

Bradshaw regularly speaks of his pride of being from Shreveport, returning to his former home a few years ago, which left him emotional.

In an episode of E's 'The Bradshaw Bunch' - a reality show that lasted two seasons in covering Terry's family - they took a trip to his former childhood home.

Seeing it for the first time in many years, Bradshaw said: "Going back to my house that I grew up in, that made me get emotional because most of my family has passed away."

Bradshaw left Louisiana after making it to the NFL, winning four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has lived in Oklahoma and Hawaii and now resides in Texas with his wife, Tammy.
