Alex Greenwood celebrates her new deal by looking through her City shirts so far with Toni Duggan…
The Blues’ captain has committed her future to the Club until the summer of 2027, which brings about seven stellar years of service.
Since signing for City ahead of the 2020/2021 campaign, she’s made over 150 appearances in all competitions for us while lifting two major honours in the FA Cup and League Cup.

During that time, she has also established herself as one of finest operators in world football which has seen her named in three PFA Barclays Women’s Super League Team of the Seasons and two FIFPRO World 11 squads.
It’s been a storied and fantastic career at City so far for Greenwood, with friend and former City forward Toni Duggan going through her Blues shirts and the memories she has attached to them in celebration.
