Man City defender Josko Gvardiol has revealed he has been carrying a chronic knee injury since the start of this year.
Speaking in an interview with Men’s Health Magazine, the Croatian international said that he has been managing the problem through workouts:
“I’ve been struggling with patella tendonitis for the last 10 months, so I need to do a lot of exercises for my knees”.
Gvardiol missed the start of the season due to the injury, but he has featured in 11 of City’s last 13 matches, including the 3-0 win over Liverpool last weekend.
