Will the Cowboys defense finally force some punts Monday Night?

Well, the Dallas Cowboys are back on Monday Night Football this week, and this time it is against a team that has a very good defense, but an offense that has not been good.

Yet, when teams play the Dallas Cowboys, their offense looks like the 2000 greatest show on turf Rams, and even with Dallas making a few trades and getting guys back this week, are we going to see this defense be able to get some stops and force the Los Vegas Raiders to punt the football?

It is a legitimate question about how bad this defense is. You all probably laughed at the same thing when facing the Arizona Cardinals, who looked the same way against Dallas and then the next week couldn’t pick up a first down.

Lose-Lose Situation

When you watch games every weekend, teams force punts, something the Dallas Cowboys defense just does not seem to do hardly ever, and when I say that, I am not saying teams don’t, but when the other offense has the ball against the Cowboys, I expect them to score this season.

You cannot tell me that you don’t expect the same, that is just how it has been this year.

The Raiders’ offense is not good, and Geno Smith has been giving the ball away a lot this season, and if the Dallas defense looks good with the new players they have coming back, I don’t want you to get sucked in.

They did activate LB DeMarvion Overshown and rookie CB Shavon Revel. Both are expected to be available for this week’s game.

If they look good this week, we are going to have fans thinking the defense turned a corner just like they did when they beat up on a Washington team that was filled with injuries, then look at what happened the next week.

I want nothing more than Dallas to dominate this game after everything that they are going through, but it would not surprise me if they let us down again on the defensive side of the ball.

We will see what happens, I do like Dallas to win this game though on the road 27, 20.
