The Denver big man finished the night with 55 points and 12 assists, and while the double-double showing was certainly an outrageous effort the Nuggets star managed to outscore the entire Clippers starting five, which includes James Harden, John Collins and Ivica Zubic.

This season, Jokic is averaging 28.8 points per game while shooting over 68 percent from the field and giving the Nuggets another strong start to the NBA season as they look to get back into the championship mix.

Jokic’s historic NBA feat certainly won’t be his last this year, and he and his teammates will be pushing for more wins throughout the season with the hopes of returning to the NBA Finals. The Nuggets won their only championship in team history back in 2023.
