It’s highly doubtful Chiefs coach Andy Reid would channel Jim Mora if Kansas City loses Sunday at Denver.
But Mora, the former Colts coach, gained notoriety for his answer to a question following an Indianapolis loss in the 2001 season.
“Playoffs? Don’t talk about playoffs. You kidding me? Playoffs?! I just hope we can win a game,” Mora said at that time.
The Chiefs, 5-4, are on the outside looking in on the playoff field, and while a loss to Denver wouldn’t doom their postseason hopes, it would damage KC’s chances of winning a 10th straight AFC West title.
It’s a big game and that’s why CBS Sports’ top broadcast crew of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson will be calling the game, which will be seen by nearly the entire nation. Here is the broadcast map, courtesy of 506Sports.com.
Fans in Kansas City also will see the Bears-Vikings game, which is at noon on Fox 4, and the Bills-Buccaneers contest. That starts at noon and will air on KCTV (Ch. 5).
This is the full list of broadcaster assignments for Week 11 (all games on Sunday except where noted).
