Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy was limited at Wednesday’s practice in Eagan. He wore a bandage on his injured right hand for extra protection. That’s because he hit that hand on guard Donovan Jackson’s helmet on a passing attempt to Justin Jefferson in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to Baltimore.

McCarthy downplayed any concern about the injury moving forward. He’s already missed NFL games in his young career due to knee and ankle injuries.

McCarthy completed only six of 16 passing attempts in the fourth quarter vs. the Ravens.

The 4-5 Vikings host the 6-3 Bears Sunday at noon.
