Being Jerry Jones’ daughter, it is okay to see her on Donald Trump’s side and dislike BB as a halftime performer. For the unversed, Trump himself dismissed the pick, claiming he’d “never heard of” Bad Bunny and calling it “absolutely ridiculous.”

But to everyone’s surprise, she showed her support for the Puerto Rican superstar’s selection for Super Bowl 60. The podcast host tried to push her toward criticism, but she didn’t bite.

Charlotte recently appeared on “The Katie Miller Podcast.” For the unversed, Katie Miller is a former Trump administration spokesperson. So, a couple of pointed questions were ready for Jerry Jones’s daughter since she started showing support for Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl booking.

The 59-year-old called the selection “awesome” and “amazing,” praising the NFL’s Latina fanbase and emphasizing the league’s global reach. She emphasized that she wanted the world’s premier entertainer on football’s biggest stage. The league goes out to everybody worldwide, Jones noted, and landing that caliber of talent matters.

She highlighted America’s immigrant foundation, saying the country’s mixed culture deserves celebration. She framed Bad Bunny’s performance as reflecting that diversity. Charlotte insisted that the show will be amazing for sure since BB can bring the global appeal.

Finally, the time came for Miller to press Charlotte harder, like a true former Trump spokesperson. She asked if Bad Bunny’s Trump criticism made him too divisive during a time when the country was supposedly seeking political unification. Wouldn’t someone apolitical make more sense for that stage?

“I don’t think our game is about politics. I don’t think people tune in to look at politics. We do everything we can to avoid politics,” Charlotte shut it down flat.

She effectively deflected Miller’s attempts to extract political red meat. “I think, in that moment, that people will be watching the game, they’ll be celebrating music, and nobody will be thinking about whose – what’s comments on the left side, what comments on the right side. This is about bringing people together,” she added.

The Cowboys organization has “always felt strongly that politics should never enter our game,” she added. She is arguing against politics without mentioning BB’s name, but teenagers even get who she is supporting here.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell previously shared a similar sentiment, noting that Bad Bunny ranks among the world’s most popular entertainers. Goodell acknowledged that selecting any artist for hundreds of millions of viewers guarantees blowback.

Super Bowl LX takes place on February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The game airs on NBC. Whether Trump attends remains unclear, but ICE agents will certainly conduct a raid.
