Paul Huntington on retirement
A look at the 11 players who left PNE in the summer - whether it be permanently or after their loan spell concluded
The striker penned a three-year deal at Bristol City and has been a regular in the starting lineup this season for the Robins. Riis has four goals and one assist to his name, across 14 league appearances.
Freddie Woodman
PNE’s former number one made a remarkable move to Liverpool. Woodman debuted for the Reds in last month’s EFL Cup defeat to Crystal Palace. The shot-stopper started the game at Anfield, with that his solo outing to date.
Sam Greenwood
There were some links to Leicester City in the summer but last season’s PNE loan man made the switch to Poland. Greenwood has three assists in eight games for Pogon Szczecin, who occupy 13th spot in Ekstraklasa after 14 fixtures.
Ched Evans
After making the decision to prolong his playing career and rejoin Fleetwood Town, the centre-forward has kept himself fit and featured on a regular basis. He’s been productive in the final third, too - scoring a couple of goals and assisting a further four.
Ryan Ledson
Snapped up by Huddersfield Town and made captain by new boss Lee Grant, the midfielder has started all 14 matches in League One. The Terriers boss has come under some pressure; Ledson will be looking to lead them to a strong rest to the season.
Kaine Kesler-Hayden
A fan favourite on loan last season and PNE’s Player of the Year, it was no surprise to see him signed by a club like Coventry City - now the league leaders. Kesler-Hayden has made 12 appearances with three of those starts - one in the league and two in the cup.
Jayden Meghoma
The young Brentford left-back is on loan at Scottish giants Rangers for the season, working under his second manager after the dismissal of Russell Martin. He has been handed regular starts - four of which came on the Europa League stage.
Ryan Porteous
The Scot headed over to the States to sign for LAFC. Porteous is starting week-in-week-out for the MLS outfit, playing alongside star-studded names like Son Heung-min and Hugo Lloris.
The young defender penned a two-year deal with Chelsea. He’s been playing for the Blues’ Under-21s side, with three appearances made in the EFL Trophy.
Patrick Bauer
AFC Wimbledon signed the German centre-back on a 12 month contract. Bauer had to bide his time but has forced his way into the XI in recent weeks, with four starts made in the last five league games. After being an unused substitute in last weekend’s 5-0 loss at Peterborough, Bauer may find himself swiftly back in the team.
Kian Taylor
The youngster is working with ex-PNE boss, Billy Davies, at Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton. He’s made five appearances - two of those starts - but hasn’t featured in recent months.
