West Ham are keeping tabs on Coventry City striker Haji Wright, according to inside source ExWHUEmployee.
The 19-cap United States international has not scored in five games, but his manager Frank Lampard sprang to his defence last week, comparing him to a former Chelsea teammate:
“I’ve played with some of the best, you know, I played with Didier Drogba. Do you think he scored every game and kept going on runs and runs? No. But when they can affect games like Haji did the other night (against Sheffield United), then that’s important, and then the goals will come back, clearly.”
